About Me


I’m Ann Howard. I am a mother of two young adults, an avid dog lover, and a happy wife. I’ve lived in Burbank and actually in the same house for most of my life. Go Bulldogs! In the last ten years, I have become interested in fitness. I exercise at the gym, participate in race events and have become certified to be a group exercise teacher. It is empowering to feel strong and capable; not limited by my fitness level to do any activity I choose. Teaching group exercise, I find I am skilled in motivating others to exercise, helping them work with proper form and assisting them in meeting their goals. I earned my personal training certification so I could work with people more effectively in a one-on-one setting.
I have completed three marathons, numerous half-marathons and 5Ks. I have done Mud Runs and a triathlon sprint. I teach Pilates, yoga, boot camp, rebounding (trampoline), step class, Tabata, cardio barre, low impact cardio, Sit N Tone (chair exercise), kickboxing, strength training, treadmill interval training, TRX and stretch & meditation. I am a creative teacher. I enjoy using many different tools for exercise and am always trying new workout styles. I have a plan that will fit you.
My mission is to help you prioritize fitness in your busy life. I understand that making time for yourself can be difficult. I want to assist you in making your fitness goals a reality. I will create a personalized workout plan for you that can fit into the time you have. We can exercise in the morning before work or school while the kids are still sleeping. We can workout during your lunch hour or while the kids are in school or are napping. We can hike in the hills with your dog. We can meet at a park to mix up the workout. You choose your focus: cardio, core work, strength training, weight loss. I will be with you step by step as you make your fitness goals come true.
